The article analyzes the familiar apostolate of Jose Maria Caro in the Vicarship of Tarapaca between the years 1911 and 1926. In this analysis the author puts emphasis in Jose Maria’s job as a missionary and how through the practical Christianity he is able to design and implement an integral reform in the tarapaquena family.
