The philosophy guiding the program is highlighted as are task force activities which led to the development of enrichment programs for elementary students. The second and third grade language arts enrichment programs utilize Columbian folktales whereas the fourth and fifth grade program focuses on the world of the future. The student selection criteria and the selection procedures are documented.
