This research paper presents the results obtained from analyzing the Corporate Social Responsibility practices implemented by an organization and its workers’ perception regarding the matter. The research took place at a multinational company present in Valle del Cauca. The research’s goal is to contrast the organization’s corporate social responsibility practices towards its workers and their families and hot they perceive it. The methodological focus is qualitative, by performing a case study applying in-depth surveys Fecha de recepcion: Diciembre de 2013 Fecha de aceptacion: Julio de 2012 to the employees. The results show that there is a tight relationship between the practices, communication processes and the employees’ perception regarding these practices. Additionally, it was found that the workers become aware of a practice’s existence as it satisfies their needs, which is why sometimes the uniformity of these perceptions is determined by the value that each worker assings to it. It was also found that even though the company does not have a clear CSR policy, the workers’ and their families’ well-being is an important part of the company’s philosophy and organizational values prompted by the management.
