This work describes the results of computational simulations of elliptical and Gaussian dielectric resonators excited synchronous coupled microstrip transmission line and coplanar waveguide (CPW) for the design of microwave filters in RF communications systems. By means of the equation of optics, the dimensions of materials that fill the dielectric resonators have been found. A value computational calculus of scattering S <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">11</sub> and S <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">21</sub> of elliptical and Gaussian dielectric coupled resonators is made and the possible uses in microwave filters are discussed.
