This article presents the development of a mobile computing system as support of production processes of seed of CIAT Genetic Resources. This system focuses on the inclusion of mobile technologies to allow efficient processes in the field in maintaining high availability of data. For its development mainly mobile devices were implemented and an architecture was designed allow them to interact with RESTful web services.
