The following article is intended to study the commercial networks that Italian merchant groups wove in the city of Barranquilla in early twentieth century. In this research we describe how was the inclusion of these merchants in the Colombian Caribbean coast as they became part of the fabric of the main commercial port of the Caribbean economy. We make an approach to the regional and international trade networks they established.
