: The essential oil from leaves of Solanum juglandifolium Humb. & Bonpl. ex Dunal grown in Colombia was analyzed by GC and GC-MS. Ninety-four compounds were identified, of which the most prominent were the sesquiterpenes germacrene-D-4-ol (26.6 %), α-cadinol (21.7 %), junenol (13.4 %), and δ-cadinene (11.7 %).
