Estimación de la Validez de Constructo y Consistencia Interna de la Escala de Compromiso de la Identidad en el Chat (ECICH) en una Muestra de 123 Jóvenes Universitarios
This article aimed to estimate reliability and construct validity of the Identity Engagement Chat Scale (ECICH) of Zegers,Larrain,Trapp,Aviles,Grez and St.Aubin in a sample of 123 university students.This instrument is a Likert type scale involving 45 statements,which assesses the compromise of identity in chatting.Alpha of Cronbach coefficient was 0.93 revealing a high internal consistency.Analysis found a structure conformed by 3 factors (Behavior consistency between the real world and the virtual world;Authenticity and deceit;Experimentation and disinhibition).As a whole,these 3 factors explain a 36.77% ofthe total variance score.This value is considered acceptable.
