Given its social and affective implications, the fatherhood in the adolescence is an unlikely desired situation in the modern urban societies. In spite of the efforts made by the governmental and nongovernmental instances in Colombia, the rates of fecundity in early age have increased; situation that deserves attention to these mothers and fathers who assume the raising of the child. The present article provides a series of recommendations for the professional attention to the motherhood and to the fatherhood when it is assumed by adolescent men and women. The attention involves not only the couple (in joined or individual form) but their families, the scholastic estates and the society in general. The findings of the investigation titled «Couple relationships, motherhood and fatherhood in adolescents», and the constant revisions and theoretical-methodological considerations on the professional intervention with families in their diverse problems, one of them the precocious motherhood and fatherhood, are the two sources that nourish the construction of the present writing.&nbsp
