The current research work was following the objective to make a psycho-educative program which could contribute to work on the secondary prevention of the Ischemic Cardiopathy. The sample was constituted by 60 patients who are assisted in The Teaching Surgical Clinic Hospital “Camilo Cienfuegos”, from Sancti Spiritus Province. Interviews and questionnaires were used, so as to determine the needs experienced by those patients to receive appropriate orientations and being educated in concern with their diseases, and at the same time, these instruments allowed to reach a diagnosis of their educative needs which formed the base to make The Program. The designed program allows the patient to be educated and acquainted about his disease and stimulates the learning process of habits and behaviors to guarantee the modifications of their style-life, which are needful for the disease secondary prevention and supplies resources and techniques to manage the stress. After the design of this Program, it was brought before the judgment of experts and professionals to be assessed.
