In this paper we propose an alternative way of introducing the subject of fluid mechanics in classroom, avoiding starting directly by the handling of equations and conversions. This is in response to the tendency to teach this subject purely in mathematical management and, knowing that it is one of the topics inserted in basic science education curriculum.
