Resumen El presente articulo tiene por objetivo mostrar de que manera la teoria sobre la sociedad sin oposicion expuesta en una de las obras mas conocidas en los anos setenta de la Escuela de Frankfurt, El hombre unidimensional de Herbert Marcuse puede ser rre-contextualizada para comprender la realidad social actual luego de grandes transfr?ormaciones como el fin de la Guerra Fria, el desmoronamiento de la Union sovietica, la imposicion de un nuevo modelo economico y de unas nuevas relaciones de poder en el contexto global donde la lucha contra el terrorismo se ha erigido en la prioridad politico-ideologica. Palabras clave: Sistema global, Escuela de Frankfurt, Herbert Marcuse ********************************************************** A global system without opposition, the end of the Cold War and the re-validation of Herbert Marcuse´s theory Abstract This article aims at showing how the theory of a society without opposition stated in one of the most renowed works of the 70´s at Frankfurt School. the Uni-dimensional Man , by Herbert Marcuse, can be re-contextualized to undersstand the current social reality after several bbig changes such as the end of the Cold War, the collapse of the Soviet union, the imposition of a new economic model and the establichment of new power relationships at the global order in which the fight against terrorism has been erected as the political-ideological priority.
