This paper is about the implementation of a digital thermometer in the +2°C to +150°C range using the LM35 temperature sensor whose analogue voltage output is digitized by means of the ADC0804 analogue-to-digital converter, processed by a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) XC3S200 on a Spartan-3 board and finally displayed on its four-character seven-segment display.
