Acceso Abierto

Abstract:

Each era leaves an indelible impression upon education which in turn satisfactorily evolve in order to achieve the effective insertion of man into society. This change, given at the level of university education, conveys a reflection about the moral contract that he the professor acquires and by which he is bound when he is a staff member at a higher education institution. This is not given the appropriate importance due to the fact that it is not a written contract. In this case we will refer to the profound thought that must be given by the professor of practical nursing over those areas of education in which he really establish relationships that unfolds his job such with students, colleagues or workmates, and not only on compliance with the institutional rules that are presented in written documents that must be met as part of the commitments acquired when we accept the teaching role. The professional nurse devoted to teaching has to the bear in mind that the moral contract highlights a pedagogical model that relates to elements that emphasize the development of autonomy, dialogue and dialogical reason dialogical, a balanced lifestyle and to accept and learn to respondto the differences in the real environment. That lets it keep the basic and foremost goal of education on pre-graduate as well as post-graduate studies. The present days professor must keep in mind that there is certain essential criteria in his moral contract that demands of him prescription, impartiality, responsibility and modesty, without leaving aside the reality of each context for action.
