A previous investigation of the anisotropy of the magnetization of ${\mathrm{Fe}}^{2+}$ in a tetrahedral field is extended to another high-symmetry direction, namely, for a magnetic field B applied along a 〈110〉 direction. The deviation from linearity of the Van Vleck magnetization, when B is in this direction, is intermediate between those along 〈100〉 and 〈111〉 directions.
