Resumen Este articulo da una mirada general acerca de la informatica forense, su definicion y su implicacion en la forma como se trata la informacion en el mundo. Ademas, muestra la importancia de la informatica forense y su puesta en practica de manera efectiva, de la mano con diferentes herramientas tecnologicas. En definitiva, explica su aplicacion, asi como la legislacion existente en materia de delitos informaticos en nuestro pais. Abstract This paper gives a general look about the forensic computer science, its definition and main characteristics. Also, it shows the importance that the forensic computer science is put into practice in an effective way, together with deferent technology tools. Finally, explains the application, as well the existent legislation for computer science crime in our country.
