Resumen: El presente ensayo se propone revisar críticamente el tratamiento teórico que las historias de la literatura colombiana le han dado al término artístico-literario Realismo. Dicha revisión permitirá evaluar los procesos historiográficos que los historiadores-literarios han llevado a cabo en la división y configuración de lo que han entendido por "literatura nacional". Abstract: This research work aims a critical review of the theoretical treatment that histories of Colombian literature have given to Realism as an artistic-literary term. This review will allow the evaluation of "historiographical processes" that the historians-literary critics have carried out in the division and configuration of what they have understood as "national literature".
