Este articulo presenta los hallazgos de la investigacion “Caracterizacion de los estudiantes con matricula condicional (EMC) en el periodo 02-2011”, que apunta a describir las principales caracteristicas socioeconomicas, psicologicas, academicas e institucionales, como posibles factores de riesgo asociados con la desercion estudiantil en la Corporacion Universitaria Lasallista (CUL). La investigacion es de tipo cuantitativo, con un alcance descriptivo en cuanto pretende conocer y describir las caracteristicas presentes de los estudiantes con matricula condicional. Los resultados indican que es posible que la matricula condicional de estos jovenes este asociada con la presencia de esquemas maladaptativos tempranos, sumada a la influencia de algunas caracteristicas de las variables socioeconomicas, academicas e institucionales. It aims at describing the main socioeconomic, psychological, academicand institutional characteristics of students, and analyze them as potential risk factors associated with dropout rates in the Corporacion Universitaria Lasallista (CUL). As a quantitative research with descriptive features, it aims at identifying the characteristics of students with conditional registration. The results indicate the possibility of the conditional registration of these young men to be associated both with the presence of early nonadaptive schemes and the influence of some socioeconomic ,academic and institutional aspects.
