Mejoramiento de la calidad física de un lote de semilla almacenada de Alnus Jorullensis, Cedrela Odorata y Cordia Alliodora a través de la aplicación de las técnicas Prevac e IDS
The PREVAC (void - pressure) and IDS (incubation - drying - separation) techniques have been used to enhance the physical quality in Iots of stored forest seed. It have been proved their efficacy in species like Pinus caribea and Pinus oocarpa (Simak 1984, citado por Willan, 1991). In the present investigation were applicated those techniques in Alnus jorullensis, Cedrela odorata and Cordia alliodora seeds with the purpose of evaluate in laboratory their potential use. The results obtained indicate that PREVAC and IDS techniques were effective in Alnus jorullensis and Cedrela odorata seeds, because it was enhanced the physical quality of de lot. In Cordia alliodora the IDS technique wasn't effective because seeds didn't resist the incubation process used, instead PREVAC technique have given good results.
