This article studies Tomas de Aquine’s ideas about war, specially those about the justice of war between Christians and nonbelievers. Analyzing the concept of peace and the relation between justiceand charity in this writer’s work, the article faces the question about religion’s place in thoughts on just war and its application to pagan societies.
