Mujer, exclusión y escritura en Colombia. Aproximación a las representaciones y órdenes letrados decimonónicos en la construcción de las naciones latinoamericanas
This article calls into question the relation between women and writing during the nineteenth century in Latin America. The literature review shows some of the contradictions within the nineteenth-century intellectual project, which was used as the founding rock for the concept of nation in Latin America and particularly in Colombia, which, moreover, established a controversial representational order of female roles. The study also proposes a way to understand the problems presented by the reception of the literary works during the romantic period, and the dialectic emerged against behavioral standards imposed according to the social strata, both in the private and the public space, from which the new dynamics of public space in Latin America during the 19th century followed. The arguments explored here can be analyzed as a mark on the language produced by the transition from the 19th to the 20th century and the foundational dynamics of citizenship in the Latin American nations.
