This paper shows the implementation of a reliability analysis in a roll forming machine for a paper company. For classic maintenance is vital to know the characteristics and state of a machine in order to predict a failure, and avoid damages, and losses. This is limited by the experience of those who implement the maintenance work. These workers must keep records of failures and maintenance times for making a reliability analysis for estimating, without the need of operators, the time in which a component system should fail.
