Distributed generation (DG), connected at low voltage and small size, based on renewable energy is a phenomenon of increasing research, development and penetration. This paper presents a model of joint power generation, from multiple machines as an alternative to be implemented in gyms. The research is based on the study of processes from the primary source and the generator, and the quantification of the amounts of energy that are capable of producing different types of spinning bikes and elliptical in a period of time. For this, taken two Colombian gyms as a study case, and evaluated technically the kinetic energy generated in order to determine the most efficient machine and the amount of energy that can be produced from it. After the design, a simulation with the parameters already defined were run. In that way, as a result, generation curves as a function of time, were obtained. Finally, an analysis of economic and technical feasibility were made in the free RETScreen International software V.4.0.
