The genus Graphis was revised in the framework of a study of corticolous lichens of the Caribbean part of Colombia, being one of the more representative genera in the region. We found 23 species of the genus, 19 of which are newly reported for Colombia: Graphis argentius Makhija & Adaw., G. chlorotica A. Massal., G. comma (Ach.) Spreng., G. daintreeinsis (A.W. Archer) A.W. Archer, G. dendrogramma Nyl., G. dupaxana Vain., G. duplicata Ach., G. furcata Fee, G. glauconigra Vain. , G. illinata Eschw., G. macella Kremp., G. malacodes Nyl. , G. miniata Redinger, G. nanodes Vain., G. pinicola Zahlbr., G. prunicola Vain., G. scripta (L.) Ach ., G. subchrysocarpa Lucking y G. supracola A.W. Archer. Additionally, the check list for this genera in Colombia is updated.
