The purpose of the research was to identify the meaning and significance of forced displacement in children between six and twelve. Method, we used the phenomenological method. The population consisted of 23 children between 6 and 12 years, of both genders. Education: preschool, primary and high school grades. Place of origin: urban and rural areas of the departments of Caquetá, Tolima, Meta, Huila, Arauca, Santanderes and Caldas. The instrument used was the narrative technique and depth interviews. Results: meanings revolve around the emerging categories, these are primarily the type of interaction in the past and present level of family, school and community. Second experiences in different physical spaces: home, school and neighborhood / village / town. The third refers to the subject and experience of the output. Finally, the fourth category related to the construction of possible worlds.
