The article presents the first organizational experiences of women in the city of Pereira during the 70s and 80s, the importance for these organizations had the political and academic leadership of intellectual Stella Brand Torres appears. In addition, the routes leading to the creation of the Corporation House of Women and the Family in 1984 as a strategic project between the Communist Party (PCC), the Organization of Democratic Women (UMD) and the Technological University of exposed Pereira (UTP), an organization that achieved last in the city after more than 20 years after its creation, coordinating their work with victims' organizations for continuous awareness of the vulnerability of women in the past and in the present.
