A temporomandibular joint prosthesis system was locally developed, the system's greatest advantages are its capacity to adapt to each patient's specific needs and the fact that is developed and manufactured locally which allows the health system to have better access to this kind of treatments. The preliminary results of a patient treated with the temporomandibular joint prosthesis developed system are presented.
