Recently, scientific and political communities reach consensus on the reality of climate change and on the fact that man is causing it. However this consensus took too long and meanwhile the change is already affecting the planet and is now irreversible whilst no effective measures where taken to face the problem. As well as trying to reduce GGE to control the magnitude of the change, it is urgent to adopt actions to anticipate its impacts. This requires innovation to take advantage of existing knowledge and technology in an ingenious way whilst specific knowledge an technology is developed.
